Where to Shop?!

Fabric/Shopping Information

I try to make it as simple as possible for the client by supplying the lining; you have the choice of “Dim-out”, “Black-out” or a cotton/poly drapery lining. I also supply all roman shade hardware and grommets are included in the quote given.

Be sure to choose fabrics in the “Drapery” section, also sheers can be used.  SOME other fabrics can be used, consult a sales associate at the store.

Most fabrics are 54”-55” wide; the quantity of fabric I suggest to buy is based on these widths.  Please re-calculate quantity needed for double width (110”) or widths other than 54”-55”.  *If you bring the “Quote” sheet, window measurements are listed and the ladies at the fabric store should be able to do this for you, if not just send me an email or phone call and I can let you know what you need.

Also consider when choosing a stripe if it is in the direction (vertical or horizontal) that you want.

Here is a list of Ottawa fabric stores.  Fabricland has a large selection and sells less expensive fabrics.  All the other fabric stores listed here have several price ranges (med-high) and a very large selection of beautiful fabrics.
